This is an exciting transition! During the entire process, the flyer can only trust that the base sole is there, where she will sit, because she cannot see it. The transition starts with foot-2-shin, the base holds the flyer’s foot and makes sure it doesn’t slide down. From a standing position, the flyer moves her hips back toward a sitting position. At the same time, the base begins to stretch his legs. At the end of the process, the flyer can sit on the foot of the base.
Videos
The transition is performed with the base and the flyer holding each other’s hands throughout.
