This AcroYoga transition uses a controlled pop to move from Foot-to-Knee into Foot-to-Foot. The base and flyer begin with a secure hand connection, which allows the flyer to place some weight through her arms as she jumps from the base’s knees.
As the flyer rises into the air, the base lifts his legs and carefully brings his feet underneath the flyer’s feet, creating the Foot-to-Foot connection. The flyer first lands in a squat on the base’s feet, keeping the hand connection while finding her balance.
Once the position feels stable, the flyer releases the base’s hands and gradually stands up as both partners extend their legs, arriving in a balanced Foot-to-Foot.
The base does not provide the lift here—the flyer uses the hand connection for support and jumps into the air under her own power.
