From Reverse Star to Reverse Straddle Throne

182

A rarely used transition, and a key element of the washing machine called Rubicon. If you’re looking for a challenge, give it a try!
The flyer brings their extended leg down across the body, this is the first stetp. From this point, two paths are possible: (1) either the flyer continues to turn backward, opening into a straddle, and the base steps into the other knee pit from behind. (2) Or the flyer turns forward, and the base enters the knee pit that way

(1)  This is the first variation, where the flyer brings the leg back to the base

In the second variation, after the cross step, the flyer extends the leg forward, hooks onto the base’s leg, and then turns backward
