The Logroll isn’t your typical spinning-around movement.
It starts from bird and transitions to inside side star in three steps, then reverses and returns to bird in the same three steps.
You can also roll to the other side and come back to bird in the same way.
Since it loops back to bird, it can be considered a washing machine — but in truth, the side star acts more like an end pose. Instead of continuing the flow from there, the movement turns back.

The way the poses are listed might be a bit confusing at first, because the photos show side stars with hand support on the base’s leg, while in the logroll the base and flyer hold hands throughout the entire movement.
Typically, in side stars, the flyer is positioned perpendicular to the base, but in the logroll, the flyer stays parallel and above the base.
So, each of these poses represents a unique variation in this sequence.
