Inside Star

736

This is the most popular, simplest, and easiest to execute of the four side stars. The flyer faces the base, with their upper body positioned above the base’s free leg. Base and flyer are in a perpendicular position.  We have collected some photos and videos that can help you practice

In this video we run through the key points of learning Inside Side Star for both flyer and base.  Acro Adventure

Daniel Scott shows you how to mount the inside side star in an airport lounge.

If the side star pose is not entered from the ground, the easiest way to get into it is from the Coach pose where the flyer is already in the correct body position due to the support points. The side star can be reached with a simple hand transition.
