The Nunchucks washing machine consists of just two transitions, both connecting the right and left sides of the reversed inside side star. In one direction, the flyer passes through a bird-like position, and in the other, through a reversed back bird. However, the flyer doesn’t hold either of these shapes—they simply pass through them on the way to the next pose.
This sequence is a kind of tic-toc, but the “out” and “back” transitions are different. The flyer draws a circular path around themselves and also rotates on their own axis.
It’s not easy to describe in words, so make sure to watch the linked videos a few times—and definitely practice with a spotter!
