From Reverse inside star to one-legged back Bird

267

From a reverse inside star, you can transition in one step to an outside one-legged back bird. The base places their foot on the flyer’s sacrum, while the flyer rotates and lifts one leg to stabilize the balance. From this position, the flyer can continue turning into an inside star or exit to the ground through a handstand.

The movement is brief, just a single step, so it’s worth slowing it down to observe it thoroughly.  In this transition, the base holds the flyer’s hand. – Jacob Brown

In this video, we see a transition where the base holds the flyer’s leg in the side star position, ensuring stability throughout the movement. The flyer’s hands remain free, allowing them to follow the motion gracefully during the backbend.  Deutsch György & Kővári Janka
