It’s a very simple transition, the base changes the position of the sole, and the flyer opens a spread and locks her legs around the base’s legs to secure the position.

Base grips the flyer’s sole firmly, then takes one leg out from under the flyer’s buttock and manually turns the flyer’s leg to the side. (three points of support remain) The removed leg is placed back on the flyer’s thigh, perpendicular to it. Flyer hits the foot of the base from the inside. The same with the other leg. Daniel Scott
