4 Thinkers is a very exciting washing machine. Essentially, it’s a transition from straddled throne to reverse straddle throne on hands and back — forming a complete circle.
The “Thinker” position here is really just a transitional shape: the flyer doesn’t stop there but keeps moving, staying in it only briefly — just long enough to hook their other leg onto the base’s opposite leg (or hand).
Since the flyer is supported on just one hand for a short moment, this should only be attempted by a base who is confident and capable in one-handed support!
The flyer steps across from the straddle throne to reverse straddle throne on hands.
Along the way, they pass through a one-legged hooked throne — this is the Thinker!
