There are many different ways to spin in throne. So how should we think about these in this system?
Some of them are unique transitions where both the starting and ending pose is the same — like wrapped throne — while others can stand alone as full washing machines, like the Whirly Gig.
I’ll include both types here and connect them wherever possible.
In this video, I’m showing a not-so-well-known throne spin. More to come!
Easy or challenging? You tell us! Try it out and share a video if you get it!

Sharon Peregrina:
The flyer releases their right hand into the base’s right hand, initiating the turn. The base grabs the flyer’s left foot with their left hand. Balancing on these two connection points, the flyer lifts off the base’s foot, extends their right leg forward and continues the rotation, placing the inside of their knee pit onto the base’s left foot. They hook in and turn into throne position
