From Reverse Star to Table pose

4

This AcroYoga transition moves from Reverse Star to Table Pose. The flyer slowly lowers her legs backward while maintaining active arm engagement and strong body tension. Keep the descent controlled to avoid building too much momentum.
As the flyer rotates, the base catches the flyer’s legs while simultaneously bringing both feet beneath the flyer’s shoulder blades, creating a stable point of support before arriving in a balanced Table Pose.

The flyer can lower the legs one at a time in a scissoring motion or bring both legs down together. Both variations work well, so choose the one that feels more natural and controlled.

This video shows the scissoring entry, with the flyer lowering one leg at a time.

Double-leg variation: This video shows the double-leg entry, with the flyer lowering both legs simultaneously.
