Three creative ways to Jump up to Throne

180

Here are two creative ways to jump up to throne — each with its own unique flair! Both entries challenge coordination, timing, and trust between base and flyer, offering a playful twist on the classic throne. Watch closely to catch the subtle differences and get inspired to incorporate them into your own flow

1. Flyer at the base’s head, ankles by the ears:
This creative throne entry starts with the flyer standing at the base’s head, ankles near the ears. The base holds the flyer’s ankles and guides the movement, lifting their own legs behind the flyer—unseen by the flyer—while the flyer jumps up and slightly backward. A playful and surprising way to move into throne!

2. Flyer standing over the base in straddle:  In this variation, the flyer starts standing over the base’s body in a straddle position, at waist height. The base holds the flyer’s ankles, and as the flyer jumps up, they bring their knees up high. This requires a higher jump but adds an exciting dynamic to the throne entry. Feel the Flow

3. Flyer jumps onto the base’s feet:
This throne entry is all about momentum and precision. The flyer takes a running start from the base’s legs and jumps directly onto the base’s feet, landing with their soles in the base’s hands. The base keeps their legs and arms vertical, providing a stable landing platform. A breathtaking move that looks effortless but requires trust and timing! Acroyoga UA
