The move starts from the ground, and the flyer does a cartwheel on the base. The flyer’s hands are in the base’s hands, and their hips are on the base’s feet. I’ve collected several videos, and it’s worth watching and studying all of them.
It’s very similar to the tic-toc move, except in the tic-toc, the flyer moves between two side stars, whereas here it starts from the ground and returns to the ground.
Bat tic-toc: This is a technique, a transition between the two side star poses through the bat pose. It goes back and forth.
Cartswheel: A beginner-level move that uses the bat tic-toc, but instead of stopping in the side star, they land on the ground. Why is it considered beginner? Because stopping and starting again from the side star is a bit more difficult than arriving on the ground through the side star.
The movement is shown in slow motion. Partner Acrobatics
