From folded leaf to straddle bat and back again. We often use this when we just want to go from one pose to another. (and in this case the other half is left out)

The first part of the movement (from folded leaf to straddle bat) is consistent—everyone does it the same way. However, the second part (transitioning from straddle bat back to folded leaf) is less defined, with multiple variations. We have gathered these variations, and they are worth exploring.

The prasarita twist consists of two parts, the first part is a transition from a folded leaf to a straddle bat, and the second part is back. The “back” version can be done in several ways, this video shows how our teachers here in Hungary teach it. Őri Hajnalka & Túri Gábor

In this version, the flyer holds her arms firmly, because the base does not hold her shoulders, but her upper arms. It can also be observed here that the second part is the same twisting rotation as the first, not the side star version. Base: Őri Hajnalka, flyer: Előd Tünde
