The Folded Leaf to Star transition is half of the Corkscrew washing machine. The flyer moves upward with a vertical torso and rotates 180 degrees around their own axis. Their legs remain in a wide straddle, parallel to the ground throughout the movement.
The flyer rotates their upper body and takes a hand-to-hand grip with the base. The base steps in toward the flyer’s shoulder and pushes them up into Star.
