Shoulderstand on thighs

In this pose, the flyer places her shoulders on the base’s thighs, grips the base’s shins, and moves into the shoulderstand from there. 

The base lifts his hips to keep his thighs as horizontal as possible. He spreads his legs just wide enough so the flyer’s shoulders reach the base’s thighs without trapping her head. In the pose, the flyer holds herself up with her hands, keeping her body straight and legs extended. The base raises his hips and spots the flyer with arms extended. If she leans backward, he can catch her.
