Reverse Star Variation

47

This is a unique variation of the Reverse Star. The base takes one leg out from under the flyer’s shoulder. The flyer grabs the base’s knee with one hand and the heel with the other.
The position is entered directly from a standard Reverse Star with a simple grip change, making the transition surprisingly straightforward despite the pose’s unusual appearance.

The video demonstrates the entry clearly, so take a close look at the timing and hand placement before giving it a try.

This video demonstrates an alternative entry, taking the pose directly from the ground instead of transitioning from a Reverse Star.
