The transition from Reverse Outside star to star is a common element in many popular washing machines — though it’s definitely not an easy one!
In this move, the flyer comes over the base, rotates, and releases their shoulder to allow the base to step in and lift them into star.
The base can enter more easily if the flyer doesn’t lean too far down and if the base slightly moves their other leg out of the way to create enough space for the transition.
A similar, but slightly easier transition is from Reverse Inside Star to Star — if the outer side version doesn’t work yet, it’s a good idea to start with that one first.
The flyer extends her hand forward to the base. After they hold hands, she then turns onto her back and then the base steps to the flyer’s shoulder. Jacob Brown
The base turns the flyer with his foot so that it is as parallel to it as possible, while the flyer bends, brings both hands next to her ears, until she reaches the base’s hand. Base steps to the flyer’s shoulder, flyer flips up into a star.
